Are you training your staff to fulfill a requirement?
If you want your staff prepared for the event CPR is designed for,
the instructors had better make them confident. We know ours do.
In our program the certification card isn't the goal... it's an award
Some CPR training programs believe watching a redundant video
and practicing for a few minutes accomplishes the requirement
and a card is obtained.
We couldn't disagree more.
The time your staff spends with us prepares them for the horrific
event should a child stop breathing and/or heart stop beating.

the USA have taken time to become confident in
CPR skills, so something is better than nothing,
however, we will not teach, nor support the
decision to have the general population persuaded
that "hands only" CPR is as good as CPR with
ventilation until studies have proven that. To date
the studies are not complete and have not
supported this change.
